Amanda Beard Nude

Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard did a photo shoot for PETA in the nude.  She said it was for a cause she "believed in."  Is that the animals or Amanda Beard?  I think you know the answer.

This was the little 14 year old at the Atlanta Olympics that came out with her teddy bear and won Americans hearts, now its nudity in Playboy or a PETA ad. Is this really necessary?

She says she represents the "modern American Women"  I guess that explains the nudity.

You see, women want to be on the same level as men, but they still want men to know they are female.  So they have to strip naked so you know their bodies are different than men.  I guess that is the moment that men give them the respect they are looking for. 

Amanda!  Men will line up to give you your "respect"   Ya know what I mean.

Just train hard and swim the 200 Meter Breaststroke in 2:22 and we will cheer you.  You don't have to "Pimp" youself out.

Dog Days

Things have not been good.  I am OK but the cab business is not.  I guess business is down in all fields, but it is especially hard in the transportation industry.  It looks like by prediction came true.  That was that no matter how bad it got, none of the immigrant drivers would give this up.  They just keep putting in their 14 hour days, 7 days a week and somehow think that life is good with their $200 a week they earn. (about 50 cents an hour).  They must not have anything else to do in their lives, no kids in school, no hobbies, no fishing buddies, no weekends at the lake, no sports outings, no swimming at the pool, no going to the gym, no hanging out at Borders Books for the afternoon, no nothing...just driving a taxi as if that where the be all and end all of life.  I can not win against that type of mindset.

Many of them are homeless.  Just go to holding at the airport in the middle of the night and you will see at least a dozen taxi drivers sleeping in their cabs...they have no where to go, but will no relinquish the cab so someone like me can make a living.

I have been very depressed, and have had no energy to write this blog.  I have never felt like this before. There has been a lot going on: Criss Angel escape in Clearwater, Obama visits St. Pete, police brutality in Tampa, cab robberies in Tampa, but I have had no energy to give a shit about any of this.

I have decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and somehow try to improve my life.  I really don't know how I am going to do that.  I can't make a living anymore.
